Nora Roberts May Want To Kick My Backside
Aspiring actors are waiters.
Aspiring writers are…what, baristas?
And indie authors are just aspiring writers that want to get found and are mucking up the book-o-verse with their hack-job writing until a real publisher swoops in on their white steed of money to rescue the author from the evil clutches of obscurity.
Happily ever after. Right?
Uh, may I please have a big dollop of “Nope.”

Right.
Indie authors. About them.
They are the real deal.
Not all of them, of course. Because not everyone is your cup of tea. But as a group, they are smart business people, as well as mastering their craft (writing). In many ways, they are better overall for readers than any “big name” “big industry” published writer.
And as I have no fear of James Patterson or Nora Roberts knocking on my door and wanting to bop me in the kisser for saying it, I will say it again…
Indie writers are better for readers.

This is my brand new blog subject series I’ll be going into in-depth, and all in the vein of helping you, the reader, find your next favorite author.
